Vegetarian Cooking

Vegetarian cooking can be extremely easy for a household which does not eat meat. However, it confuses the matter when there is a family of meat eaters except one. I have always eaten meat however; my future husband has decided to go down the vegetarian pathway. I fully support him and hope that eventually, once I have found the will power, I will become one too. This makes is difficult when making meals and preparing snacks.

What are we doing to the Planet?

Every day that we, the population destroy the world by pollution, cutting down rainforests or blowing up underground mines, a small part of me feels like the earth will eventually fight back. After years and years of torture and neglect, one day the earth will revolt. Horrific events such as the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami are devastating for the world however; I feel that this is only a drop in the ocean for what will come if we do not leave the earth and nature alone.

Making a Food Diary

I have decided to write about this topic as it is very much a part of my life at the moment. I have struggled when completing a food diary as I have always felt like hiding the truth about what I eat. It is embarrassing when everything you put in your mouth is scrutinized, especially when you know that you are eating the wrong foods. Putting pen to paper seems to be the hardest thing for me to do!

The heart is a muscle found in any animal that has a circulatory system. The heart is paramount to keeping the animal or person alive. Its job is to push blood around the body and throughout the blood vessels. The heart acts like a pump pushing the blood in a repeated, rhythmical fashion.
